Each piece is carefully handcrafted and is an irreplaceable one-of-a-kind item.

Machiko Etchu, who has over 40 years of experience, uses her techniques to delicately yet boldly express the subtle movement of water.
It is truly a "living" art piece that shows different expressions depending on the angle from which you view it.

"ARANAMI" creates a special moment where the splashes of water expressed in glass and the rising fragrance come together in harmony.

History​

Capturing the fleeting moments of nature in glass.
With this in mind, our challenge began.

The "water." series is loved by many people.
Beyond expressing the gentle flow of water, this time I wanted to capture the momentary brilliance and power of the spray.

To achieve this, we visited the workshop many times.
We spend our days sitting down with our partners, brainstorming ideas, and creating prototypes over and over again.

Time and again, prototypes failed to meet our expectations.
However, each "failure" brought new realizations, and little by little we got closer to our ideal form.
The passion, skill, and uncompromising attitude of our partners transformed the impossible into the possible.

After many challenges and trial and error, we finally completed three works that we were satisfied with.
Each piece has a unique expression and looks different depending on the angle from which it is viewed, making them truly masterpieces worthy of being called living works of art.

"ARANAMI" is more than just a product.
It is the birth of a new form of expression, born from the passion of those fascinated by the mysteries of nature and the skill of artisans.
