Article 1 (General Provisions)

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the online store provided by Comma (“the Store,” “we,” or “us”).
By accessing or purchasing from this store (“the Service”), customers (“you”) are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.


Article 2 (Orders and Contract Formation)

A purchase contract is considered established when you place an order through the Store and an Order Confirmation Email is sent to you.

We reserve the right to cancel orders under the following circumstances:

  • The payment could not be authorized

  • The product is out of stock and no restock is expected

  • The shipping address contains errors and you cannot be contacted

  • The order is determined to be fraudulent (e.g., resale intent, suspected credit card misuse)


Article 3 (Prices and Payment)

Product prices are as displayed on the Store.

For international orders, displayed prices do not include customs duties, import taxes, or local consumption taxes.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Shopify Payments (Credit Card, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay)

  • Other payment methods designated by the Store


Article 4 (Shipping, Customs Duties, and Import Taxes) — Important

1. Obligation to Pay Duties and Taxes

For international shipments, customs duties, import taxes, and customs clearance fees imposed by the destination country or region must be paid by the recipient (customer).
The Store does not cover these fees.

2. Refusal to Pay Duties

If the package is returned to us because the recipient refused to pay customs duties, only the refundable amount minus all actual costs, including:

  • Outbound and return shipping fees

  • Customs duties and handling fees

will be refunded or charged accordingly.

3. Shipping Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, weather conditions, or other events beyond our control.


Article 5 (Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations)

Customer-initiated returns, exchanges, and cancellations
(e.g., “different from what I imagined,” incorrect order, change of mind)
are not accepted.

We will only accept returns or exchanges in cases of:

  • Damage during shipping

  • Initial manufacturing defects

In such cases, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide the required photographic evidence.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

The Store is not liable for any damages incurred from the use of the Service unless caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence on our part.

The Store is not responsible for any fire, injury, or other damage resulting from the use of products sold by us (including glassware and incense).
Please use all products safely and at your own risk.


Article 7 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

All disputes arising out of or relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
